From the gold rush of the 1850s until today the world has been filled with hungry entrepreneurs understanding the idea that time is money.
In 2004 Marion Illies introduced the innovative concept of combining a Laundromat with an internet café giving value and time back to the community. EZ time is EZ money.
The Idea is Born: at 21 years of age, following her strong passion for horses and her own independence, Marion moved to a small town in England where she worked as a horse trainer. An 18 hour day, 7 days a week allowed Marion one half day every two weeks for her personal chores. It was there she found her need for a time efficient way to do laundry.
Building EZ: Starting from the idea of a place where people could do their laundry while taking care of business, being able to socialize and get a bite to eat, Marion has created a more time efficient, pleasurable atmosphere to accomplish daily chores.
Launching EZ: EZ New Web Laundromat and Café opened its doors in 2004. It was an instant success. Change was inevitable. Marion saw the need to connect the dots with one location where you could combine the activities of people’s every day lives.
Growth of EZ: As customers started to become attracted to the colorful, friendly, and healthy atmosphere, it wasn’t long after that they started to talk. Word spread fast as business immediately boomed reaching all ends of the spectrum. EZ has touched all walks of life from print and television to every level of the community. Marion Illies, with 13 years of business management experience, a strong sense of direction and most importantly vision, saw that it was clear: EZ needed to grow to a global franchise.
Beyond EZ: As EZ continues to flourish and grow, the effort to keep reaching out to the community is always at the top of the list. Adding more value to our customers’ lives and providing a time efficient service is actively building a stronger global community.
